I sat with three good friends/ fellow MS Engineering candidates. I also got a nice sunburn (Yes, on occasion, the Pacific Northwest does see the sun and, with the lack of foresight to use sunscreen, sunburn is a possibility).
Bill Gates, Sr. gave the commencement speech. I met a professor in full regalia including a Swedish Professor Top Hat (real cool), and made a call during the ceremony to discuss the damage potential of the UW's ceremonial mace (http://depts.washington.edu/freshcon/mace.shtml) - I figure it's a +5 magic weapon, with 1d6+5 damage, 17-20 critical.
Then Italian food afterwards! I'm still exhausted but recovering nicely today tho my lobster-boy impression is still around.
Right on, Matt! Congrats!
