Old War Horses, Issue 18
Issue No. 18 of Old War Horses lists some encounters in the Black - a dead body with a fruity-oaty bar (is it good to eat? The bar, not the body, geez, you're sick!), a stripped ship, a trail of Blue Sun cans to a larger stash, and more!
Xun Ren is the pilot of the Ning Po and has a bit of a problem - he's dead. Not that not walking around in much of a problem for him. Just don't let that manitou take over while he's flying or there'll be trouble!
Taras Maksim Yan Sidorov is the merc, from a long line of mercs. And he's got something to prove.
Old War Horses, Issue 4
Issue No. 4 of Old War Horses introduces the Alliance 479th Mule, Gravedigging and Support Unit, stationed in the ass-end of the 'Verse, on a hell-hole named Ita. Their job is to guard the only thing worth coming to Ita for - the Alliance and Independent Fleet boneyard.
The stray puppies of the Alliance military. Ooo, boy, it's got to be good!
Old War Horses, Issue 3
Issue No. 3 of Old War Horses discusses how the Deadlands Reloaded Meta Plot changes in the 'Verse (I totally scrapped it) plus outlines the basics of character creation - all the PCs are Legendary Rank.
And Harrowed. Oh, yes, they're there. Now why would you think otherwise?
Old War Horses, Issue 1
Issue No. 1 of Old War Horses was inspired by a song by the Drive-by Truckers, an old podcast (the Rolemonkeys - if you can find the podcasts, then you are fortunate indeed), a couple of fan-inspired Savage Worlds setting conversions (Firefly Savage Worlds and Savage Serenity) and Deadlands Reloaded.
One bit of history: when I wrote this issue, I was still gaming with the Corvis Monkey Troupe. Sadly, I'm no longer in that game group. But I had planned on running this setting for them. Now, several years later, I still remember the good times we had together. Cheers, guys!
